The purpose of the “BraveHearts” Mentoring Program is to encourage and support both teenage boys and men in their quest to find their masculine souls. The BraveHearts discipline and integrity are ingrained as honor is developed. The BraveHearts expeditions motivates leadership and direction by overcoming fears and the realization that we have what it takes. The mission will also focus on healthy masculinity that is passed on by fathers or male influences to a young boy’s heart. BraveHearts will build character and will provide teenage boys and their fathers with a team of godly men and peers who will stand with them as they live the adventure. That adventure is all about seeking out a new challenge which is in the heart of all men. We know the greater the challenge, the bigger the adventure and greater the reward. Leadership & Teaching:
BraveHearts is taught and lead by John Dzik, MD. John is an excellent teacher and a leader of men. The outstanding teaching of the book and field manual “Wild at Heart” by John Eldredge as well as Dr. Dzik’s curriculum, are the guide to the BraveHearts experience. John is committed to recognizing and unleashing the God given power of the masculine soul. It is this spirit that has the potential of greatness and brings strength to our society. John is board certified in emergency medicine and is a former officer and flight surgeon with the US Air Force. He is an avid outdoorsmen and is a proud father and husband.
